The Fall Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for October 24, 2022- October 28, 2022 in the All Purpose/Computer Lab at Fernbrook School, during school hours.
There will also be evening shopping hours from 4:30 PM- 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 and Friday, October 28, 2022.
Stop by during the evening hours on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 for a very special guest reader (Dr. Bernal) She will be reading a fun story around 6:00 PM!
Tax Information:
For the first time ever, students (or any shoppers) will have to pay NJ Sales Tax on their purchases. The current NJ Sales Tax is 6.625%. We will have signs to remind our students about the tax addition, but please make sure your children understand this added cost.
For Example: In the past, if you gave your child a $10 bill and the book was $9.99, this amount would have covered the cost. With this new tax addition, if the book is $9.99, the total cost with sales tax will be $10.65.
*Please note that the NJ Sales Tax addition will be in place for all future Scholastic Book Fairs.
Fall Book Fair Volunteers Needed
The Fall Book Fair Committee is looking for parent/guardian volunteers to assist with the book fair during your child's class time to shop. Two volunteers are needed per class (30 minute sessions. Sign up to volunteer, today!
